Pteranoman is about a senator named Pete Traino and his hot secretary/love inters/ sidekick. As he dresses up as a Pterosaur themed super hero as he battles crime with his wacky gizmos. This series seems to be a loving balck and white send up of bat man and other mystery men. With interesting dynamic art and a lovingly silly premise this series starts off petty good in the first issue. Might do the hole series if I like it.

In his first adventure Pteranoman fights a evil corrupt businesses man dumping toxic waste on a fault line only for it to awake a army of piss off dinosaurs. Will he stop there ramapge? Will he date any of his cave babes? The answers is in this issue true believers.

The course a mad doctor has to toy around with the dinosuar flesh because how else will the story continue to go. While its okay for what i assume to be a parody to lean in on tropes heavy it still makes it feel like they couldnt do better. (this is coming from Ted i lean so hard intro tropes i fall on top of them miller)
While Pteranoman and the babes take the dinosuars somewere safe, generic mc professor guy turns into a dinosaur man which feels like a riff on the lizard form spider man. After he comes back they have a solid fight. With a "new" invention saving the day and sending Grate vaule lizard to his possible grave.
There is a few gore shots in the issue but i dont mind.
So far a okay start to the series, I may read more of it at a latter date and even review/ tlak about it more.
Update this is petromans one and only issue of his series. Theres sadly no more after this. Aprently he also never realy showed up in any thing else again.
