So Sonic is a roller coaster of a series were shit goes up and down at the speed of light and there not much we as fans can do about it. But rather then go on and on about how Sonic team needs to just let the mania staff take over. I want to talk about the robots or badniks for the clasic 2d games. You know the good ones. So lets ago. This will only cover sonic one and 2s badniks
Sonic One badniks:
Ballhogs are evil robot pigies powered by an animal inside like most of eggman/robotnik's bad nick army they apear in many of the other games but get there start in sonic one.
Bat brains are jet powered robot bats that do show up in other games in the series.
Bombs are well walking bomb robots not much to say beyond that
Burow bots are the basic robot moles and the less famous sonic one version of the mighty grounders.
Buzz bombers are jet porpelled robot wasps turly the docters evil nos no ends. Real wasps are all ready angery death monsters now image one that can fly at mach speeds and shoot missles.
Catikillers are kinda slow derps but abosulty charming to say the least its no wonder these weridos get so much love latter on
Chopper are robot prania that jump up and try to kill you. There just sorta robot fish.
Claw meat like most early badniks realy dont look evil to me rather like a goofy robot crab that needs a hug.
Jaws are the more annyoing robot fish.
Moto Bugs desing i abosulty love to death. These robot uniclye lady bugs are sorta the goombas of sonic one in my heart.
Newtrons are the chamelon bad niks that come in two falvors and have a habit of turning invisible on you.
Rollers are a goofy robo armdillo. Why must you make such cute baddies eggman?!
Spikes are like the snail carb version of moto bugs buth with spiked shells.
Uni uni and Unidasu I hate them these robot spike robots.

Aquris are robot sea horses.
Asteron are robor star fish and they make me think of the pokemon Staryu.
Balkiries are jets but also robot brids you can tell these desing dont do much for me.
Bat Bots are so cut it hurts me to want to kill these jet powered jelly bean bat robots. Proving Dr. Eggmans turly evil is not world conquest its making me hurt these guys.
Buzzers are just a buzz bomber varint.
Chop chops are a mencing robot fish.
Cluckers are not only evil robot chickens but there evil robot chickens in turnets. This feels like some thing I do if I had the knowledge and money to do it.
Coconuts are a robot monkey that like to haras sonic with exploding cocnuts. Even showed up in one of the sonic cartoons as a lackey.
Carwls are robot antropods of some sort that like to block sonic with there pinball bumbper sheilds and can only be hurt form behind if memory severs me right.
Crawltons are a robot centipede i think? It even showed up in the sonic ova/movie for a short while.
Falshers are cute robot lighting bugs that need a hug and if old man brain is right they could also have some kinda flashing light attack.
Grabbers are the robots of the squad that like to hold on to you as there name implies
Grounder is a humanoid squar mole and even if it didnt show up in the cartoon as a loveable meme oaf the desing is still grate, and fun.

Nebulas are sead pod helicopter men whats not to love about them?
Octus are cute but there not much I can say about a robot octopuss. Beyond it has many variants in many games.
Reds are flame throwing robot dinosuars wich means they get a billion cool points and that to the fact there sprites give them a cute factor of a thosuand.
Rexons are robo Plesiosaurs that hide ib lava had have big dumb goofy faces. You can tell I like prehistoric life bescuase all the robo dinos and reptiles get top sorces form me.
Shellcracks are crab asholes with extendung robot arms. Hate them so much.
Slicers dont let this cute robo mantis fool you into thinking its your pal its boomerang calws are no joke. Many of lives lost to them if im rembering right.
Spikers are what I assume to be hermit carbs with a spike shell of doom.
Spiney ROBOT SPINES!!
Steagos are kinda cheating as there removed cut badniks form a part of the game that was removed and only added in a later port of the game. But Come on there robot triceratops on wheels. Also there called stegways in the port so 10/10.
Turtloids are a tiny robot turtle that rides a biger one doing its best Gamera imperssion. Eggman realy should top this villan thing and just become a toy maker.
Whisps no not the kind that show up latter in sonic colors are robot flys that i want to hug.
